Dr. James Forsher, Special Consultant and Adviser

Dr. Forsher served at Florida State University as an Assistant Professor in the Communication Department from 1997 to 2001. From 2001 to 2007, he achieved Associate Professor status and was tenured at California State University, East Bay. At that institution, he was director of the broadcast production program. Recently, Dr. Forsher has served as an Associate Professor in Communication at Seattle University.

Over the past five years, Dr. Forsher, in addition to teaching, has maintained an active media consultancy. Most of his work is focused on using the web as a way to promote learning in the classroom. Dr. Forsher has been active for one client in the production of over 50 “webisodes,” as well as production of a variety of online assessment projects.

Eric Becker

Eric Becker

Eric Becker is a Seattle-based Director. After receiving his MPH in Global Health (Yale, 2006) he went on to work as a Producer for HBO and as a Co-Producer for the documentary Fambul Tok.

Warren Berry

Warren Berry

Berry’s work television and production work includes Bertolucci’s Little Bhudda, Northern Exposure, Goodwill Games, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, Donahue, Monday Night Football, and JP Patches. He has worked in all professional sports in the Pacific Northwest, including Hydroplane racing.

Irena Mihova

Among Irena’s recent productions are RUNNING THE SAHARA, with Executive producer Matt Damon and directed by the Emmy and Oscar winner James Moll; BLING: A PLANET ROCK, for VH1, starring Kanye West; FEATHERS TO THE SKY, in the social selection of the AFI, Santa Barbara and Tribeca Film Festivals; the CNBC show THE BUSINESS OF DEVELOPMENT, winner of the Excellence Videographer Award; and DIGITAL DIVIDE, nominated for the Deborah Fletcher Award

Born in Bulgaria, Irena holds a Master of Arts in Political Science, with postgraduate studies in International Law at The Institute of International Studies in Switzerland and a research fellowship in International Relations at The Reykjavik University of Iceland. Irena was Chief News Editor at Channel COMM Networks, Bulgaria, extensively covering the war in Bosnia, the Moscow Putsch, and the collapse of the financial pyramid schemes in the Balkans. At the United Nations, Irena has held Political, Judicial and External Affairs positions around the world. She also launched the groundbreaking TV & Film Partnerships Initiative at the United Nations Development Programme. Irena Mihova is a four-time recipient of the Carnegie Corporation of New York’s creative grant

Karen Myers

Karen Myers

Karen believes that it’s her job to help find the storyline, and then trim, shape and polish. That way the project has the best potential to become the best and most effective communication possible.

Kunle Oguneye

Kunle Oguneye was born and raised in Nigeria. He graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, and did his MBA work at Drake. He combines computers and technology with a his passion for story-telling.
